William Branston, Tenor

About William

Born in rural South Wales, William Branston is a Welsh speaker with a master’s degree from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (London, UK) and a performance diploma in Opera and Vocal studies from the International Opera Academy (Gent, Belgium).

He is currently working as a freelance tenor in the UK and Europe. As well as being an active soloist, he also sings at La Monnaie De Munt Opera House in Brussels, with Opera Ballet Vlaanderen in Antwerp and Gent, and as a permanent member of the Vlaams Radiokoor. 

In his spare time, William enjoys maintaining a thriving houseplant collection, reading, laser dinghy sailing, web development & graphic design, and playing waterpolo. He is also the Marketing and Social Media Manager for Waterperry Opera Festival in the UK.
