The Magic Flute will be performed in the Roxburgh Hall Theatre, Stowe on Saturday 23 October at 7pm and Sunday 24 October at 2:30pm
Arcadian Opera will at last perform Mozart’s mesmerising opera The Magic Flute back in their “home” theatre, The Roxburgh Hall, at Stowe in October. One of the most popular operas in the canon it is both intriguing and fun. A firm favourite with opera goers everywhere it is also a great “first to see opera” for young people. With scary monsters, a wicked queen, a princess in distress and a handsome hero – not to mention his girl obsessed whacky side kick – what’s not to like?!
We have been very fortunate in being able to retain the services of our stellar cast for our performances in October. Some cherished old friends and some delightful new ones lead the performers. Behind the scenes the imaginatively talented team who brought you most recently the nationally recognised and applauded production of The Wreckers in 2018, and the picturesque and popular Romeo and Juliet in 2019, will once again be at work to bring you a magically innovative production of this eternally popular opera.
We can’t wait to get started and we know you’re going to love it as much as we will!
