With one foot in Tin Pan Alley and the other in Carnegie Hall, George Gershwin spanned the gap between jazz and classical. The Flanders Symphony Orchestra sets off the new year in style with the most beautiful music of this American composer, supplemented with a few classics from the Great American Songbook.

This concert is a collaboration between the City of Ghent, Flanders Symphony Orchestra, De Bijloke Music Center and the International Opera Academy.
